(A) Tokyo (the capital of Japan/ the seat of the Japan government)
Tokyo doesn't have a single city center. Otherwise, It comprises a variety of neighborhoods meshed together.
Like a donut, in the geographic center of the city is a quiet stillness, the Imperial Palace.
Many distinct area are circling the palace: business, commerce, political, traditional, and others.

1. Tokyo is lacated around the center of the Japanese archipelago, on the east coast of Honshu, the main island.
Tokyo is the city facing the Pacific Ocean, and coming from Natita International Airport into the city, many first- time
visitors would be inspired from the Ocean scenary when they cross Rainbow Bridge over Tokyo Bay to get to their hotels
located downtown.

2. Tokyo (the seat of Imperial Family)
Imperial Family is the oldest continuous hereditary monarchy in the world today. The imperial crest is a 16-petal
chrysanthemum and depicted on the cover of Japanese passports
Princess Masako, the wife of Crown Prince Naruhito is an Oxford and Harvard-educated commoner.

3 Tokyo (old days: called Edo)
The capital of Japan has moved many times throughout the history of Japan.
The place, which is home to the Imperial House and the location of the government, is considered the capital.
With Meiji Restoration when Japan opened its doors to the West, the Emperor moved from Kyoto, and new government
was established in Edo named by Tokugawa government, shortly after, which was renamed Tokyo, or Kyoto of the East.


文楽

人形芝居である。三味線の音楽とともに、語りの太夫の声も曲をなす　
浄瑠璃と、人形がその鼓動にあわせる古典的総合芸術である。　　　　
2008年、能楽、歌舞伎とともに、ユネスコ無形文化遺産に登録された
人形浄瑠璃文楽である。　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　

鑑賞できる劇場
国立文楽劇場 :　大阪市中央区日本橋1-12-10　　　　　　　　　　　　　
竹本座が誕生した文楽発祥の地、道頓堀に近い日本橋に1984年開場　　
毎年1月、4月、6月、7〜8月、11月の定期公演がある。　　　　　　　　　　　

国立劇場: 東京都千代田区隼町4-1 　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　
日本初の国立劇場として、1966年に皇居の桜田濠を前にして開場　　　　
大劇場では歌舞伎。小劇場で2月、5月、9月、12月に文楽の定期公演が
ある。

感想　とてもよかった。(2/19、追記事項あり)
午後の第2部、「冥土の飛脚」「壇ノ浦兜軍記」を舞台最前列で見せていただきました。
桐竹勘十郎さんの人形さばきは、KIGAに足を運んでいただき、見せていただいた時の印象ともあいまって、また
それ以上に完成された美という更なる印象が加わり、すばらしかった。　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　
特に「壇ノ浦兜軍記」では、琴や胡弓の生演奏が舞台演技にあわせて体感でき、とてもよかった。
太夫や三味線などなども呼吸があい、すばらしい舞台演技であった。　　　　　　　　
そう、「壇ノ浦兜軍記」では、三人遣いのなかの黒衣まで衣を取り、お顔がみえ、生々しく躍動感があり感動でした。
嘘発見器の役割を果たす楽器の琴や胡弓などの演奏の乱れを人形ｷｬｽﾄが見せないｽﾄｰﾘｰにかない、生演技や
演奏がすばらしいとしかいいようがなかった。　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　

一方、世話物「冥土の飛脚」では、人形ｷｬｽﾄの心情や世相、人間の性などがうまく描かれており時空を超えて
現在の社会問題にも通じる悲しさ、滑稽さが感じれられとてもよかった。特に、道行き相籠の段、愛籠のｸﾗｲﾏｯｸｽが
情景描写といい、舞台演出といい、とても良かったと思う。　　　封印切のｲﾔﾎﾝｶﾞｲﾄﾞの説明は面白かったです。　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　

文楽の構成員
太夫: 舞台の人形の台詞の語り、物語の設定、舞台キャストの心情の語りを節をつけて行う。
三味線: 太棹と呼ばれる低い音色の楽器を用い情景を伝える。
　　　太夫、三味線は、舞台に向かって右手の床と呼ばれる小舞台に並んでいる
人形: 主要な人形は三人の呼吸で操る。首と右手を担当する主遣い
　　　　左手を担当する左遣い、足を担当する足遣い

文楽の成立
奈良時代より人形芝居があった。歴史物語を語る語りものも鎌倉時代からあった。
そして、１６００年ごろ人形浄瑠璃となり、文楽へと発展。元禄時代に近松門左衛門が
曽根崎心中などの作品を書き竹本義太夫が竹本座で語る。　　　　　　　　　　　　　　
文楽という名称のルーツは義太夫節の寄席を開いた植村文楽軒に由来。　　　　　　

作品
歴史的な物語を題材にした、時代物と、恋や日常の出来事を描いた世話物である。

舞台の醍醐味
作品の多くは、太夫、主たる楽器の三味線、人形の芝居で、それらの調和が見所。

文楽豆知識
1734年竹本座で上演された「芦屋道満大内鑑」という芝居で人形3人遣いが考案。
主遣いの意思を左遣いと足遣いに伝えてひとつの人形の動きを表現。
(修得までに、足10年/左10年と言われる。)
公演前の人形作りなども人形遣いの仕事
人形の顔へのﾒｲｸｱｯﾌﾟや鬘をつくり髪を結うなどの職人もいる。
首の根元辺りに仕掛けがあり、うなづいたり、眉を上下させたりできる。
